Teachers will abandon Dillard

Mr. Dillard has to be campaigning in a fog. Should he win the Republican nomination for governor, the unions will abandon him like he has the plague.

They are not supporting him because they believe in him. They are simply fearful of what Bruce Rauner is promising to do if he is elected.

Mr. Dillard says that many teachers are Republicans and that may be true, however the union hierarchy is who decides candidate endorsements and I'll wager the new Red Gate bridge that Mr. Quinn will be their pick in the general election.
