Grayslake Garden Club Offers Scholarship

The Grayslake Greenery Garden Club is offering its annual scholarship for the 2014 school year to help promote the goals of encouraging interest in all phases of home gardening, promoting civic beautification, and promoting conservation of natural resources.

The competition for up to $1,000 in scholarship money is open to any student who is a resident of Lake County, and majoring in the field of horticulture or in a field related to horticulture. The money will be applied to tuition and textbook costs at the institution at which the student is enrolled. The scholarship winner will be announced in May and students have one year to use their winnings.
