Need to change direction in a hurry

I want to commend Alexander Lee for the great letter he wrote regarding the "Land of Opportunism." It was extremely well written and outlined perfectly the general malaise that has become our country.

We are going to Hades in a handbasket and going there very quickly. In fact, I fear we may have already arrived with the full impact of deleterious effects yet to be experienced. We need to change direction in a hurry or the last best hope for mankind in this world will soon be gone.
