Retired teachers meet:

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon on Tuesday, March 11, at Lambs Farm restaurant at Route 176 and I-94, near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. This month, Kimberly Isaacson, program coordinator at the University of Illinois Extension Services, will present "A Spring Garden Checklist." She will answer questions about garden preparations, such as how soon to start and what to do first. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
