Palatine Rural Fire Dist. holds info session on referendum

The Palatine Rural Fire Protection District will host a public meeting at 7 p.m. March 5 to discuss the tax hike it is requesting from voters on the March 18 ballot. Chief Hank Clemmensen said there will be a brief presentation about the referendum followed by plenty of time for public comment. "We are trying to make sure people are aware of what the referendum is all about," Clemmensen said. The public meeting will be held at the fire station, 35 Ela Road in Inverness.
