Barrington dancers performing at Gigi's gala

Dancers from Barrington-based Bataille Academie of the Danse will perform at the Gigi's Playhouse 2014 International Gala at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oak Brook.

Gigi's Playhouse is a Hoffman Estates-based organization that runs Down syndrome Achievement Centers across the country.

One of the groups from Bataille is the Shining Stars dancers, made up of children with Down's Syndrome. The Shining Stars are mentored by the Integrity Dance Project, advanced level dancers, who will also perform at the Gala.

Individual seats to the gala are $150. Tickets can be purchased at gigisplayhouse.org.
