Endorsements: Maher, Hart for Will County Board

Three candidates are seeking the Republican nomination in the March 18 primary for two available seats on the Will County Board from District 11, which primarily covers south Naperville. The field features incumbents Charles Maher and Suzanne Hart, who are running as a team, and challenger Michael Strick. All are from Naperville. Board members serve on both the county board and Will County Forest Preserve Commission.

Maher is a three-term board member with a strong understanding of the issues, a clear vision for the county, a reasoned approach, the ability to clearly articulate his views and a willingness to reach across the aisle to work with the county's new Democratic majority. He is endorsed.

Hart is serving her first term on the board and still has some learning to do, but brings a wealth of knowledge from her days on the Naperville Park District to the forest preserve commission. She is endorsed.
