Suburbs don't deserve presidential library

Regarding the Feb. 15 "Library on the move" Soapbox article about the location of the Barack Obama presidential library, why on earth do you think that the suburbs should be included in the hunt for a site? In general, the suburbs, especially the Northwest suburbs but with the possible exception of Buffalo Grove and some North Shore communities, have been hostile and abusive to Mr. Obama and his policies. Now, however, when tourist dollars may be at stake, suddenly they want in on the deal.

They obviously have no respect for our president and do not deserve to have a presidential library located in their communities. Just by making fun of Mr. Obama by suggesting it be a presidential bookmobile shows disrespect.
