Vote against rehab of Brainerd relic

In March, the Libertyville voters are going to the polls to vote on whether or not to purchase and rehab the old Brainerd School building. I hope that they keep in mind the tremendous cost of renovating this old relic that has long since outlived its usefulness.

Those of us who can remember the costly boondoggles of the past can relate to this attempt to use taxpayers' hard-earned property tax money on another fiasco. We taxpayers owe it to ourselves and our wallets to vote no to this proposed purchase and renovation of the Brainerd Building as it will appear on the ballot in March.
