Felicelli gets 1,000 in milestone Carmel win

Kathleen Felicelli reached a milestone, and Carmel Catholic's girls basketball team hit the 20-win mark for the second year in a row Saturday.

Felicelli scored a season-high 25 points, leading the Corsairs to a 68-52 nonconference win over host Harlan in Chicago. In the process, Felicelli, a three-year varsity player, surpassed 1,000 points for her career.

Carmel (20-8) also received 11 points from Emma Rappe and 9 from Paige Gauthier.
