The second annual Mac N Cheese contest at Max's Deli in Highland Park was a great success, raising more than $1,500 for Stand Up for Kids Chicago.
The event also collected winter outer wear and recruited several volunteers in the process, as the organization always welcomes inquiries from youth groups and volunteers to distribute food and clothing while walking the streets with Stand Up For Kids volunteers.
