Eric Elias Foundation dances the night away Feb. 22
The Eric Elias Foundation cordially invites you to its 11th annual Dinner Dance to be held 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Manzo's Banquets, 1571 S. Elmhurst Road, Des Plaines.
The Eric Elias Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, was established over 13 years ago to assist families in dealing with the everyday stresses of having a family member that suffers from Muscular Dystrophy.
The mission of the foundation is not to donate money for research purposes, but rather to give funds to families so that they may acquire everyday essentials that are not covered by insurance.
This could be something as small as a seat cushion for comfort, to the installation of a wheelchair ramp, or the purchase of a wheelchair lift equipped van.
By providing these items, the Foundation hopes to enhance the quality of life for sufferers of MD, and have made great strides in the past five years, assisting several families with your help. The Eric Elias Foundation has donated over $75,000 to local families to date.
Tickets are $65 per person, or $600 for a table of 10. There will be live entertainment from Trio One and Elvis tribute artist, Shawn Sharp, an open bar, great food, raffles, and door prizes.
