Food drive continues until Feb. 16
"Share the Love" people and pets community food drive continues to Feb. 16 at the Two Bostons Store, two in Naperville and one in Geneva.
Two Bostons sponsors this annual community event, which represents an easy way to simultaneously feed people and pets in need. Community residents are invited to bring nonperishable food items for people to any Two Bostons store during the drive dates. Two Bostons will match the total poundage in pet food, then donate the combined amount to Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry, a registered 501(c)(3) organization that serves approximately 600 families across DuPage County each and every week; with almost 50 percent of recipients being children.
As a result of last year's drive, more than 8,000 pounds of food were donated by Two Bostons. Their goal this year is to top this amount. No purchase is required to participate in this drive, Those wishing to donate food are simply asked to stop by one of the three convenient store drop-off locations.
