Sign up for an evening wildflower walk May 12

Join in a special evening wildflower walk at Dick Young Forest Preserve in Batavia.

Join naturalists from the Forest Preserve District of Kane County for the "Wildflowers by Evening" nature program. This free, family program will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the forest preserve, 39W115 Main St., Batavia.

During this walk, naturalists will go over tips for identifying wildflowers and teach you about the ecology of the woods, where they grow.

All ages are welcome. Advance registration is required. Call (630) 444-3190 or e-mail programs@kaneforest.com to register.
