'Over the River and Through the Woods' guided nature walk Nov. 27
Come to LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve for "Over the River and Through the Woods," the popular, annual, post-Thanksgiving guided nature walk, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27.
Attendees will watch for wildlife, learn about adaptations for winter and maybe see a wild turkey or two.
You, of course, won't be going over a river, but you'll walk over the creek on a foot bridge, and hike through the woods.
All ages are welcome to this Forest Preserve of Kane County program. Bring the whole family!
Advance registration is required for this free program. Call (630) 444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.
