Italian dinner will benefit St. Catherine Youth Mission Team

In the mood for an Italian dinner and supporting a cause? The St. Catherine of Siena Church Youth Mission Team is hosting its third annual Italian dinner on Saturday, Feb. 22, with seating from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the St. Catherine of Siena School gym, 845 W. Main St., West Dundee.

Enjoy an Italian dinner with family and friends and help support the Youth Mission Team and their upcoming mission trip to Toledo, Ohio in June.

Italian specialties available include a choice of mostaccioli and meatballs, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage, or a meatball sub sandwich with salad, dessert and beverage. Cost is $10, $5 for ages 17 and younger. Carryout/to-go boxes dinners are available. Walk-ins are welcome.

In addition to the Italian dinner, guests will view a slideshow depicting a variety of photos from past youth ministry mission trips, plus raffles and entertainment by the teens.

Proceeds from the Italian dinner will help raise funds to enable the youth ministry's 26 teens and adult chaperones attend the upcoming summer Mission Trip to Toledo, Ohio in June 2014.

The St. Catherine of Siena Youth Mission Team has supported volunteering endeavors for the past 9 years through the Catholic Heart Work Camp organization. Last year, 26 teens and six adult chaperones served the St. Louis, Mo., community joining over 300 teens from neighboring states to help the elderly.
