Enjoy a Winter Wildlife Hike through Burnidge Forest Preserve
See the beauty of winter during the "Winter Wildlife Hike" at Burnidge Forest Preserve in Elgin on Sunday, Jan. 29.
There are many kinds of animals that brave the Illinois winter. Forest Preserve District of Kane County naturalists will lead the way, as we'll look for signs of wintering wildlife, and learn about adaptations for surviving the cold.
This hike is from 10 to 11 a.m. at Burnidge Forest Preserve, 14N035 Coombs Road, Elgin.
