Fermilab series offers Black Friday, Cyber Monday discounts

For the first time, the Fermilab Arts & Lecture Series will be offering Black Friday, Nov. 27, and Cyber Monday, Nov. 30, discounts of 20 percent on full-priced 2016 Arts and Gallery Series tickets.

The BLACKFRIDAY or CYBERMONDAY promo codes will be available for all 2016 Arts Series events, as well as the individual concerts of the Gallery Chamber Series, at www.centerstageticketing.com/sites/fermilab/events.php.

Lecture Series events and otherwise discounted tickets, student prices, Gallery series discount, group or volume rates, etc., are not eligible for this offer, however you can utilize the codes, BLACKFRIDAY or CYBERMONDAY, for gift certificates. The box office will be closed Black Friday, but discounts will be offered on any phone requests placed on that day.

There is something coming up for everyone. Classical musical lovers will enjoy the Gallery Chamber Series offerings; families will be thrilled with Imago Theatre's Zoo Zoo, blues and acoustic music fans are in for a special treat when Corey Harris and Eric Bibb bring True Blues to Fermilab; dance lovers will again be dazzled with the huge wealth of Chicago talent when Stars of Dance Chicago returns; and world music lovers are in for a treat with Ireland's award winning Dervish or Christina Pato Quartet, part of the Silk Road Ensemble.

Lecture Series possibilities include the Field Museum's Emily Graslie discussing "The Brain Scoop," a look at the Dark Universe with Josh Frieman; an exploration of global climate change with Phil Mote, and just added, "Pluto Revealed" with David Weintraub.
