Farm Frolic returns to Primrose Farm Sunday
Bring the kids to the Primrose Farm Frolic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Primrose Farm, 5N726 Crane Road, west of Randall Road in St. Charles.
Combining the atmosphere of a working 1930s dairy farm with exciting fall activities, it will include historic demonstrations, traditional games and crafts, tractor-drawn wagon rides, live music, and delicious fall foods.
Activities include corn cannons, face painting, farm animal meet-and-greet, modern big truck display, pony rides, pumpkin painting, straw maze, and vintage tractor and equipment display.
There will be historic demonstrations on blacksmithing, buttermaking, corn shelling, cream separating, gardening, laundering, and wood stove cooking.
Refreshments will be available for a small fee from the organic, home-cooked kitchen of Inglenook Pantry in Geneva.

Admission is $8 for ages 12 and older; $4 for ages 3 to 11; or free for age 2 or younger.
