Bus catches fire in Prospect Hts.

A Pace bus driver escaped uninjured after his bus caught on fire Thursday afternoon in Prospect Heights, authorities said.
The bus didn’t have any passengers about 3 p.m. when it was traveling on Apple Drive, near the intersection with Milwaukee Avenue, according to Battalion Chief Mark Oeltgen of the Prospect Heights Fire Protection District.
It’s unknown how the fire began, Oeltgen said.
The extent of damage to the bus was not immediately clear.
