Lambs of Faith Early Childhood Center accepting registration

October, 2013, saw the opening of a new, Christian-centered preschool for residents of Arlington Heights and the Northwest suburban area.

Lambs of Faith Early Childhood Center, operating at Faith Lutheran Church, 431 S. Arlington Heights Road, offers a preschool experience that feeds body, mind, and soul for children ages 2-5.

Lambs of Faith’s integrated developmentally appropriate curriculum prepares children for their next educational experience. Lambs follows the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards, as well as a Christian curriculum that follows early learning goals.

The Lambs of Faith staff are all experienced early educators with college degree-training to provide the best preschool developmental experience for young learners. In addition, Faith Church’s pastor, the Rev. Thomas Sanders, is a qualified educator who teaches a monthly age-appropriate chapel service for the preschoolers.

Samson, Faith Church’s trained Comfort Dog, provides an additional “staff member” for children to learn with and interact.

The Lambs of Faith experience is for parents as well as preschoolers, with several educational and interactive family-oriented activities throughout the year. Curriculum is built on preparing students for elementary school, but with a definite emphasis on Christian values and faith.

Facilities and equipment at Lambs of Faith Early Childhood Center are new, with ample classroom and play space. An approved (by DCFS) outdoor playground will be added in the spring.

The school year is from early September to late May. Registration is now being accepted. Call for an appointment or stop by one of the open houses from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4; 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11; or 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, March 21, for Marvelous Messes Science Discovery and an open house.

Lambs of Faith Early Childhood Center has been inspected, licensed and fully meets the standards/expectations of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Lambs of Faith Early Childhood Center admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
