1 dies, 4 wounded after shooting at Chicago lounge

CHICAGO — Authorities say one person was killed and four others were wounded during a shooting at a club on Chicago's South Side.

Saturday's shooting took place around 1 a.m. after an argument broke out during a party.

A police spokesman says shortly before the shooting two men were asked to leave the lounge. The shots were fired from the club's doorway, striking five people.

A 35-year-old man died at Stroger Hospital after being shot in the head. His name hasn't been released.

Meanwhile, three others — a 37-year-old man, 40-year-old man and 34-year-old woman — are in stable condition after the shooting. Authorities say another 37-year-old man was treated for a graze wound and released.

So far, no arrests have been made.
