Skunks, other critters topic of Lake County Audubon Society talk

Skunks, raccoons, possums, bats, and groundhogs are the topic of the Lake County Audubon Society program at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at the Libertyville village hall, 118 W. Cook Ave. Guest speaker Chris Anchor, head wildlife biologist for the Cook County Forest Preserve District, is well-known for his popular coyote and deer programs given throughout the area. This new program is geared for homeowners and will include a slideshow on skunks, raccoons, possums, bats and groundhogs. Anchor will discuss how to enjoy these animals and live safely and peacefully in their midst. All are invited, but home school families are especially encouraged to attend the 90-minute program.
