Public hearings on medical marijuana ordinance planned

Public hearings are planned on changes to a county ordinance that would regulate operations and locations for medical marijuana cultivation centers and dispensaries in unincorporated areas. They will be held by the Regional Planning Commission at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Division of Transportation, 600 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, and by the zoning board of appeals at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 6, at the county’s central permit facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville.
