Your news Prospect Heights Police Association takes part Giving Tree

The Prospect Heights Police Association announced its participation in 2013’s Giving Tree Program, which identifies families in Prospect Heights who are struggling during the holiday season and helps in providing gifts to their children.

The Prospect Heights Police Association coordinated the event with St. Alphonsus Ligouri Church and transferred more than $500 in gifts, purchased and wrapped by members of the Prospect Heights Police Department and their families for use in the Giving Tree Program.

The Giving Tree Program is one of a number of community events the Prospect Heights Police Association helps support to improve the lives of families within Prospect Heights.

The association is made up of members of the Prospect Heights Police Department, both sworn and civilian, who are dedicated to making Prospect Heights a better place to live and work.
