Health fair on tap Jan. 25

ChildServ, a Chicago-area agency helping at-risk children and families, will host a health fair on Saturday, Jan. 25, in Waukegan, according to a news release. The free event is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 128 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. It will include a free health screening provided by The Community Care Connection, information on health resources in the area and a free raffle. ChildServ reaches 3,100 children and families each year through foster care, adoption, group homes, child care, early childhood education and parenting support education in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties, the release stated.
