Mundelein Park District Awarded Excellence In Financial Reporting Two Years In A Row

Mundelein Park & Recreation District (MPRD) (www.mundeleinparks.org) was recently awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada

(www.gfoa.org). This achievement recognizes government organizations for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) and is the highest form of recognition in the form of governmental accounting and financial reporting. This is the second time that MPRD is being recognized for this outstanding achievement.

“This is quite an accomplishment. It underscores our commitment to the highest standards throughout the Park District, including financial reporting. Our goal is to provide outstanding programs and services to the community, and this plays a critical role,” said Margaret Resnick, Director of Parks and Recreation.
