Citizens for Conservation continues winter schedule
Citizens for Conservation restoration volunteers work every Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
Brush cutting and all of its aerobic exercise energizes these hardy workers as they free native trees from the clutches of invasive brush.
Experienced and beginning volunteers meet at CFC headquarters, 459 W. Route 22 in Lake Barrington.
Look for the white farmhouse with a silo across from Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
Bring work gloves and dress for the weather. CFC will provide tools and refreshments.
