Model railroad exhibit at Cook Park Library

The Cook Park Library in Libertyville showcased the Winter Wishes on the Railway model train exhibit Saturday, as patrons experienced the sights and sounds of the Green Bay Milwaukee and Chicago Model Railroad Show.

Models featured a variety of sizes, including vintage O-gauge scale trains, plus LEGO and Thomas the Train collections arranged by 12-year-old Omar Rasidagic.

Nonperishable food items were collected for admission and donated to the Lake County Food Pantry.

The show continues Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the library at 413 N. Milwaukee Ave. More information can be found at www.cooklib.org.
