‘Captivating Chemistry Show’ in Carpentersville offers slimy, foaming experiments

Tired of being cooped up in the house?

The Dundee Township Park District is presenting some great family entertainment from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at the Rakow Center in the Senior Center wing, 665 Barrington Ave., Carpentersville.

Be amazed at the “Captivating Chemistry Show” as chemical compounds are combined to produce light, color changes, big balls of slime, towers of foam, and even small explosions.

The advance fee is $2 or $3 at the door. Children age 2 and younger are admitted free. Bring the entire family for a full-filled evening.
