Learn about volunteering in Lake Co. forest preserves

The Lake County Forest Preserve District is holding an open house on Jan. 15 to share information about the many volunteer opportunities in the district.

The event will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the district office, 1899 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville. The gathering is free and open to anyone 15 or older.
