“50 Years of Community Action” reception and auction

Community Action Partnership of Lake County will host the “50 Years of Community Action” reception and silent auction on Friday, Jan. 17, at the organization’s offices, 1200 W. Glen Flora Ave., Waukegan.

The reception will display Community Action agencies history timelines over the past 50 years and members of Community Action Partnership Foundation, the board of directors and organization leadership and staff will be on hand. Guests will learn how the organization has changed the lives of many Head Start graduates from 1965-95, assisted small business owners who have partnered or received a startup loan and helped residents of Lake County through various CAPOLC programs.

This is a networking opportunity for past and present supporters and staff of Community Action Partnership.

For sponsor and information, contact Lisa Hayes at (847) 249-4330 or lisa.hayes@caplakecounty.org.

Proceeds support Community Action Partnership of Lake County’s Food Pantry and Early Childhood Development programs.
