Duckworth to host Hanover Park veterans forum

Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth will host a veterans forum Friday afternoon in Hanover Park, officials said.

The forum at village hall is an opportunity for veterans to speak with Duckworth, a Democrat from Hoffman Estates, and ask her any questions they might have, officials said.

The event will feature a brick dedication at the Hanover Park Veterans Memorial. A representative from the Illinois Department of Transportation also will be present to talk about the department’s services for veterans.

The event begins at 3 p.m. in Room 214 of village hall, 2121 W. Lake St.
