Libertyville Little League online registration is open

Libertyville Little League 2014 spring and summer registration is now open via the league’s new website, www.LibertyvilleBaseball.org.

An “early bird” discount will be available until Jan. 31. A $30 late fee will apply after Feb. 1; registration will close on Feb. 15.

Registration is open to all children ages 5 (as of Aug. 31, 2014) to 18, regardless of skill level or physical ability, living within the Libertyville Little League boundaries (available on the website) and families that reside on U.S. military bases throughout the area.

Families living outside the league’s boundaries are subject to a park district participation fee.

Families can also register for the league’s annual “Rust Busters” spring training camps, which will be held at Libertyville High School Feb. 23 and March 9.

An email “Q&A” option has been added to the Libertyville Little League’s new website to answer questions about the new age guidelines and registration process. The league will respond to all registration-related questions within 48 hours.

Opening Day festivities will occur Saturday, April 12.

For additional press information throughout the year, contact Lance A. Schart, the Libertyville Little League director of media relations, at Lance@Schart.com or (847) 962-8156.
