Blood donation Friday at Buffalo Grove Fire Department

The Buffalo Grove Fire Department is holding a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Station 26, 1051 Highland Grove Drive. For an appointment, visit lifesource.org using code 041D or contact the fire department at (847) 537-0995. While walk-ins are welcomed, appointments are recommended. People planning to donate should eat well, stay hydrated and bring an ID (LifeSource or military ID, driver’s license, or employee badge with picture and full name, or birth certificate along with a picture ID that includes the donor full name).
