Arlington Heights library receives five-star rating
One of the best libraries in the country is right in your own backyard.
For the sixth consecutive year, the Arlington Heights Memorial Library has received a five-star rating in Library Journal’s national rating of public libraries. Five stars is the highest rating that a library can receive and a recognition achieved by only 1 percent of the nation’s libraries.
Star ratings are based on the annual number of library visits, circulation, program attendance and public Internet computer use. This is an honor for not only the library staff and the library board of trustees, but also for the community.
Arlington Heights Memorial Library appreciates the strong support it receives from the community and thanks residents for making it a five-star library for six years in a row. See Library Journal’s 2013 Index of Star Libraries at www. lj.libraryjournal.com.
