Bartlett village tax levy to drop 5 percent

The Bartlett village tax levy, approved recently by the village board, will drop 5 percent, or $500,000, to $9,390,955. The portion of the levy going to the general corporate fund and for police pensions fell 7.67 percent, while the portion going to debt service rose somewhat, Village Administrator Valerie Salmons said at a public hearing last month on the levy.
