Free self-defense seminar in Des Plaines

A free self-defense seminar will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m Friday, Dec. 13 at the Lattof YMCA in Des Plaines.

An officer from the Illinois State Police will provide free self-defense techniques and discuss ways to stay safe, officials said.
