Enzo & Lucia Ristorante & Café Once Again Open in Historic Downtown Long Grove

Enzo & Lucia Ristorante & Café (343 Old McHenry Rd) is proud to announce the re-opening of their family-owned and operated restaurant in historic downtown Long Grove.

On June 2, 2013, Enzo & Lucia's experienced a kitchen fire that forced them to close their doors to the public. Now, after months of tireless restoration and anticipation, the restaurant is back in business.

Enzo & Lucia's is going on 13 years of great food and quality service in Long Grove, but this family affair goes back to more than 35 years in the restaurant business. Enter the restaurant and receive a warm greeting by cousins Lucia Cavallino and Glenn Cardelli. Meanwhile, Chef Enzo Cavallino and sons Angelo and Gennaro can be seen working away in the open kitchen preparing authentic family recipes including homemade pastas, fish, and desserts daily.

The Northwest Italian menu includes a daily risotto option, veal marsala, grilled bass, chicken vesuvio, fresh seafood, potato gnocchi, gourmet pizza, the house's signature capelacci in vodka sauce and delicious desserts like cannoli and tiramisu.

Enzo & Lucia's is housed in a historic, former Victorian-style home. Features include a candlelit main dining room, located upstairs and done in warm tones, lit softly by whimsical chandeliers. French windows and well-spaced tables make for an intimate atmosphere; casually simple with a touch of elegance. The view of a fountain and flower garden spells romance. A kitchen table provides a glimpse behind the scenes.

Enzo & Lucia's Ristorante & Café serves lunch and dinner daily with a full service bar. For reservations or to inquire about their private party room, call (847) 478-8825 or visit www.enzoandlucia.com.
