Lake Villa church holds annual cookie walk

Calvary Christian Center will host its 26th annual Christmas cookie walk and craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the center 134 W. Monaville Road, Lake Villa. Visitors can choose from among several homemade varieties for $6 per pound. Whole cakes and cinnamon rolls will be available for additional cost. More than 40 crafters and vendor will offer homemade gifts. Soup and sandwiches will be available at the lunch counter and coffee and other beverages will be available throughout the event.
