Court challenge will cost us all

If the Illinois General Assembly passes a pension bill that is not constitutional, it will be settled in the courts. Working and retired people who are affected by this unconstitutional change will pay legal cost from money provided by us. The legal fees to defend the decision of the House and Senate will be provided by the taxpayers. Surely there are better ways to use millions of dollars of taxpayer money.
