Enjoy holiday sounds with Illinois Brass Band
Submitted by Illinois Brass Band
Celebrate Christmas at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center as The Illinois Brass Band presents “Holiday Classics.”
The hall will come alive as 30 of the area’s finest brass players fill the air with the sounds of this special time of year, including a mix of traditional carols, holiday classics, and jazzy updates of Christmas favorites.
Vocal soloist Amy Keipert will once again be featured with the band as she sings holiday selections by British composer and arranger Andrew Wainwright. The whole family will also enjoy a traditional carol singalong.
The Illinois Brass band is a six-time national champion of the North American Brass Band Association. The band is in its 22nd year.
The concert will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at The Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center, 2007 Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and students 18 and younger. Reservations are not required. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the performance.
The Illinois Brass Band is supported in part by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. For details, visit www.illinoisbrassband.org or www.facebook.com/illinoisbrassband.
