Taste of the Town coming to Wheeling Dec. 12

The Wheeling/Prospect Heights Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry is presenting the Taste of the Town, an evening of delectable food, select wines, craft beer, and other goodies presented by the renowned dining establishments on Restaurant Row and in the surrounding area. Live music, cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, a silent auction, and raffles round out the festivities. The event is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Westin Chicago North Shore, 601 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling. Advance registration is $30 per person. Tickets are $40 at the door.
