Rotary holding wine fundraiser at Sunset Foods in Long Grove

The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove is hosting its 2nd annual wine gala at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Sunset Foods in Long Grove.

You can sample dozens of wines while enjoying appetizers fresh from the Sunset Foods kitchens at the Rotary Wine Tasting Gala. Upon entering, you will receive a wineglass for sampling and your ticket automatically enters you into the raffle with a prize valued at more than $500 that includes two cases of the featured tasting wines, wineglasses, a carafe and more. You need not be present to win.

There is special event wine pricing available if you wish to purchase a single bottle or cases of your favorites. Additionally, there will be a silent auction featuring sport, wine and holiday baskets artfully prepared by Sunset Foods.

Tickets are available online at www.BGRotary.org or at the Long Grove Sunset Foods customer service desk. Pre-sale tickets are $40; day-of tickets are $50.

Rotary International also sponsors the largest youth exchange program in the world and promotes world peace and understanding on a person-to-person basis. Currently, there is a Rotary exchange student from Brazil attending Stevenson High School and a local 2013 Stevenson graduate is on a yearlong immersion trip in Indonesia.
