Worker dies after falling from O’Hare roof

A contractor working at O’Hare International Airport died after falling from the roof of the facility’s international terminal.

The 59-year-old electrician, identified as Gary Beno of New Lenox, fell about 35 feet to a lower level at the airport.

He was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in nearby Park Ridge but later died.

An autopsy is planned for Friday
