Pre-feast workout at rec center can benefit SWAT unit

Celebrate Thanksgiving in good health and come out to the Norris Recreation Center in St. Charles as they open their doors this holiday to host a fundraiser for the Kane County SWAT unit. SWAT stands for special weapons and tactics.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, at the center, 1050 Dunham Road, St. Charles.

The Norris Recreation Center is asking for a donation of $5 or more per individual or $15 per family.

With your donation you and your kids, age 12 or older, can enjoy access to our tennis courts, workout rooms, group fitness classes, swimming, and our child care.
