McDonald’s in Des Plaines reopening Dec. 2

The McDonald’s restaurant at 725 W. Golf Road in Des Plaines has several events planned for its grand reopening week beginning Dec. 2.

There will be free coffee with Des Plaines police from 9 to 11 a.m. on Dec. 2, a balloon creation artist from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, the IncrediBulls from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 6, an appearance by Chicago Blackhawks mascot Tommy Hawk from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, and Breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. on Dec. 8.

The restaurant is also planning food specials that week.
