Kirk Players Continue Giving

Kirk Players continued their support of the arts in the Mundelein community with a $750.00 grant awarded to Mundelein District 79's Parent Teacher Organization. Kirk Players are in their 48th season of community service through the arts and have donated over $100,000 to area programs.

The check was presented by Kirk Player President, Sheila Bourque, to Band Director Brent Burger at the 7th and 8th grade band concert at Fremont Middle School.

Students and parents applauded as Bourque renewed Kirk Player support for the second year. “The arts are vital to our community and Kirk Players is proud to invest our profits back into the arts in our schools” Bourque said.

“These funds will be invested right back to our kids” said Burger. Plans call for bringing professional musicians to the school to work with the students.
