If Rose can’t go for Bulls, Hinrich’s ready
It shouldn#146;t be a big deal, since Hinrich started 60 games at point guard last season while Rose recovered from ACL surgery.
#147;It#146;s just the minutes and just being ready,#148; Hinrich said Thursday at the Berto Center. #147;The approach is really the same as far as getting the scouting report, getting ready to run the team. In that way, it#146;s about the same.
#147;More importantly, we#146;ve got to get a win on the road. Tomorrow is a good opportunity against a very good team to get a quality road win.#148;
Hinrich is getting healthier himself, in a way. He was asked about the sleeve he has been wearing to protect his right shoulder blade.
#147;Hopefully I#146;ll be able to shed that soon,#148; he said. #147;The next week or so, I#146;ll probably hope to be done with it.#148;
Rose watches Jabari:Derrick Rose did not attend Tuesday#146;s college doubleheader at the United Center. Like most everyone else who watched on television, he was impressed with Duke freshman Jabari Parker. Like Rose, Parker attended Simeon Career Academy on Chicago#146;s South Side.#147;It was crazy seeing how far he came in his career and who he#146;s becoming,#148; Rose said. #147;From seeing him in 6th or 7th grade, a chubby little kid. Now he#146;s a young man and his future#146;s looking bright. I#146;m happy for him.#148;Rose was asked to compare the Freshman Big Three of Parker, Kansas#146; Andrew Wiggins and Kentucky#146;s Julius Randle.#147;All of them are great. I think Jabari stuck out,#148; Rose said. #147;I#146;m not saying that Wiggins isn#146;t ready or Randle isn#146;t ready.
