Cops For Coats drive continues in Des Plaines

Des Plaines police are continuing to collect clean, gently worn winter coats as part of the Cops For Coats drive.

They will continue to accept coats in a drop box in the lobby of the police department until Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Coats collected by the Des Plaines, Park Ridge and Niles police departments will be distributed to Maine Township residents from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Maine Township Hall, 1700 Ballard Road in Park Ridge.

The Des Plaines Police Department is located at 1418 Miner St.
